Zhiping Zhang

Zhiping is the lab manager for the Jensen lab and an invaluable member of the biophysics group. From Shaanxi, China, Zhiping received a bachelor’s degree from Yan’an University and earned his doctorate degree from the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics at the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He did post-doctorate fellow work at BYU and Purdue before returning to China to be a chemistry professor. He returned to BYU to work with Dean Jensen in XXXX, and in addition to his lab manager responsibilities, he is focused on sample preparation, cryo-EM imaging, and data processing. He also enjoys playing ping pong, running, and spending time with his family.
